The Naked Coach is a book about vulnerability and how to welcome vulnerability with acceptance and inquiry. Nine experienced coaches each demonstrate how deep insights and personal change can be produced just by observing their own nakedness. We see the nine coaches first support their clients with a safe and reflective space around sensitive client issues. The coaches then organise a reflective space for themselves to look into their own sensitivity, with an aim to learn. Coaching affects the coach as much as the client. Looking into how we are affected can make us a better coach.
In The Naked Coach the nine executive coaches have each chosen a vulnerable theme for themselves to explore. The book builds on the thought leadership of the Ashridge Centre for Coaching and is essential reading for practising experienced coaches, students of coaching, purchasers of coaching, and HR and leadership professionals generally.
